Setting

• Acute Care Hospital
• 268-bed hospital
• Adult Level III Trauma Center

Clinical Duties

• Combination of Diagnostic Radiology and Moderate Interventional Radiology

Most Common Procedures

1. CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies (excluding mammography)
2. Drain placements:
   • Renal
   • Biliary
   • Gastric
   • Gallbladder
   • Abscess
   • Biliary stents
3. Thoracentesis
4. Paracentesis
5. Dialysis procedures performed in the cath lab
6. Occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases
7. Rare embolization procedures for GI and other bleeding cases
