Westchester County, New York, Certified Nurse Midwife Job

o Permanent, full-time position
o Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Certified Nurse Midwife
o Join an established OB/GYN practice in Westchester County
o Responsible for providing prenatal and postpartum care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
o Collaborative practice environment with physician supervision and support
o Responsibilities include:
• Obtain detailed patient histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations
• Develop and implement treatment plans for OB/GYN patients
• Order and interpret laboratory, radiology, fetal heart rate tracings, and diagnostic studies
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Prescribe medications and controlled substances as permitted by state law
• Document all aspects of patient care, including pelvic and cervical examinations
• Administer injections and intravenous medications
• Collect diagnostic specimens including blood and urine
• Interpret Non-Stress Test results
• Triage patient calls and concerns
• Screen patients for postpartum depression
• Participate in day, night, weekday, and weekend call rotations
• Attend uncomplicated vaginal deliveries
• Assist with cesarean sections
• Provide antepartum and postpartum care
• Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies through ER call coverage

• Compensation and Benefits:
o Compensation range: $118,000-$140,000
o Salary determined by experience, performance, quality metrics, and location
