Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Shared evening and weekend call (1:8 rotation)

Licenses & Certifications

Required

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery OR Truly Board Eligible
• Fellowship Training REQUIRED in one of the following:
  • Orthopedic Traumatology
  • Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint Arthroplasty
• Active Iowa Medical License
• Active Illinois Medical License
• Strong clinical and surgical expertise with commitment to complex orthopedic trauma care

• Graduating Orthopedic Trauma Fellows
• Experienced Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons

Practice Details

Call Schedule

• 1:8 shared evening and weekend call

Support

• Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
• Post-operative clinic support included
• Dedicated trauma operating room block time
• Strong multispecialty collaboration
• Robust system-wide infrastructure

Clinical Scope

• Complex orthopedic trauma cases
• Adult reconstruction / total joint arthroplasty (as applicable)
• High-acuity inpatient surgical management
• Evidence-based, team-oriented surgical care

Compensation & Benefits

Guaranteed Compensation

• Competitive base salary
• Production incentives begin at 10,650 wRVUs
• Straight production model beginning Year 3
