Physician relocation resulting in a practice vacancy

Practice Setting

Primarily Inpatient

Some Outpatient coverage for physician vacation coverage

Adult patient population

Coverage Details

Oversight and collaboration with a Nurse Practitioner

Willingness to enroll patients in research studies required

Call coverage required

Management of hematology and oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Patient Volume

Hospital patient census averages 12-15 patients per day

Requirements

Board Certified Hematology/Oncology required

Active Virginia license required

BLS required

Experience with inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care required

Interest in clinical research and patient enrollment preferred

Experience supervising and collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers required
