A leading hospital in Delray Beach, Florida is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join an expanding cardiovascular team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, hospital-employed setting with access to a complex cardiac surgical case mix, advanced technology, and a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.
Opportunity Highlights

High-volume cardiovascular program

Opportunity to tailor involvement in general OR cases based on individual preferences
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services for a broad range of advanced cardiac and cardiovascular procedures, including:
Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
Valve repair and replacement procedures
Structural heart interventions, including TAVR and MitraClip
Thoracic aortic surgery
Mechanical circulatory support cases, including LVAD and ECMO
Additional responsibilities include:
Intraoperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Hemodynamic monitoring and optimization
Perioperative cardiovascular management
Participation in critical care and multidisciplinary patient management
Collaborative Care Team
Work alongside an experienced and highly skilled team that includes:
Cardiac Surgeons
Interventional Cardiologists
Intensivists
Perfusionists
Dedicated Cardiovascular Nursing Staff
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program
Completion of a Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Advanced Perioperative TEE Certification (or certification eligible)
Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure
