RecruitWell is partnering a well-established, physician-led cardiology group in Northern California is seeking a high-caliber Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join its growing team. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a 22-physician practice during an exciting period of strategic growth, with a clear path to partnership in one of the most desirable regions in the country.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for a specialist who thrives in a high-volume, procedurally complex environment and is looking to build a long-term career within a collaborative, high-performing cardiovascular team. Physicians are supported in practicing patient-first, evidence-based medicine within a collegial culture focused on clinical excellence and exceptional patient care.

Clinical Highlights

Join a team led by an experienced senior electrophysiologist with expertise across the full procedural spectrum
Opportunity for mentorship in epicardial VT, complex laser lead extraction, and advanced ablation techniques
Strong volume in atrial fibrillation ablation and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)
Training and certification support available for LAAO, if needed
Participate in sophisticated research initiatives, including IDE and IIS clinical trials
Access to the latest device innovation and investigation-level protocols
Dedicated electrophysiology support team in both inpatient and outpatient settings
High-efficiency workflow with approximately 1.5 to 2 days per week in the lab

Practice Structure
Dedicated EP-focused role rather than a blended general cardiology model
Sustainable EP-only call rotation, estimated at 1:2 or 1:3
No general cardiology weekend or night call required
Transparent 2- to 3-year track to full partnership within a physician-owned group
Integrated EPIC EMR and state-of-the-art lab facilities

Qualifications

MD or DO with fellowship training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Cardiac Electrophysiology
Demonstrated proficiency in AFib ablation required
Interest in clinical research and advanced VT work highly preferred
Excellent communication skills and commitment to evidence-based, patient-first care

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $500,000 to $600,000, depending on experience, guaranteed for the first 2 years
Additional productivity-based incentive compensation
