We are seeking experienced Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join a growing anesthesia team serving two highly respected hospitals in South Florida.

Position Overview
This position provides anesthesia coverage across both hospital locations, working within a medically directed anesthesia care team model alongside anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of anesthesia care plans
Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations
Administer and maintain anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist
Monitor patients throughout the intraoperative and postoperative periods
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Participate in patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical excellence initiatives
Provide anesthesia services across both hospital campuses as needed
Community Hospital
195-bed acute care hospital
Advanced surgical services including orthopedics, spine, general surgery, gastroenterology, OB/GYN, and robotic-assisted procedures
Collegial team culture with strong physician and administrative support
Tertiary Care Facility
536-bed tertiary care hospital
High-acuity case mix including cardiovascular, neuro, trauma, and comprehensive surgical services
Teaching opportunities and diverse clinical exposure
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program
Current NCCAA certification required
Eligible for Florida licensure
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant required
Recent experience must be in an acute care hospital setting
Candidates with ambulatory surgery center (ASC)-only experience will not be considered
Demonstrated experience managing a broad range of surgical cases and patient acuity levels
