Schedule & Coverage

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Standard 8-hour day shifts
• FTE: 1.0

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Facility Information:

• 253-bed hospital
• Adult patient population (18+)

Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate and manage gastroenterology patients in both clinic and hospital settings
• Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with Gastroenterologists
• Review laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary staff
• Complete documentation using Epic EMR

Patient Volume:

• Approximately 16 clinic patients per day

Procedures:

• No procedures required

• EMR: Epic
• Collaborative Gastroenterology physicians
• Experienced Advanced Practice Providers
• Provider will not practice independently

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Gastroenterology experience – Required
• Active Washington medical license – Required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) – Required
