Clinical Scope

• Orthopedic trauma within hospital privileges
• Inpatient rounding and admissions required
• Clinic follow-up and outpatient orthopedic care included
• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics

Average Daily Volume

• Hospital: ~2 patients/day
• Clinic: ~12–20 patients/day

Procedures & Responsibilities

• Orthopedic trauma care within scope of privileges
• Full responsibility for clinical decision-making in solo coverage model
• Rounding, admissions, and outpatient clinic management

Requirements

• Oregon Medical License: Required at time of presentation (must be in hand)
• Board Certification: Orthopedic Surgery (implied for privileging scope)
• Clinical Activity Documentation: Must provide case log of 100 patients within past 24 months
  • Must include diagnosis/procedure, date, and facility
• BLS Certification: Required
• Recent Epic Experience: Within last 6 months
• Ability to function independently in solo practice environment
