Schedule & Coverage

Shift Lengths:

• 8-hour shifts
• 11-hour shifts
• 13-hour shifts

Coverage Structure:

• 24-hour physician coverage daily

Flexible scheduling options available.

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Facility Information:

• 43-bed hospital
• 13-bed Emergency Department
• On-site helipad for transfers

Annual Emergency Department Volume:

• Approximately 17,000 visits

Admission Rate:

• Approximately 14%

Patient Acuity:

• Medium acuity

Responsibilities Include:

• Emergency evaluation and treatment
• Stabilization of acute illnesses and injuries
• Coordination with consulting specialists
• Emergency procedures as clinically indicated
• Documentation and patient management

EMR: Meditech

Additional Resources:

• On-site helipad for higher-level transfers
• Supportive clinical leadership

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated Base Compensation:

• $190–$250 per hour

Additional Compensation Opportunities:

• RVU incentive plan
• Quarterly quality bonus
• Sign-on bonus for eligible full-time physicians

Requirements

ABEM Certified or Eligible – Required

ABFM Certified physicians with Emergency Medicine experience will be considered

Strong Emergency Medicine clinical skills required
