A nationally recognized pediatric academic medical center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join an established Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. This position offers a balance of inpatient and outpatient care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and an ACGME-accredited fellowship program.
Position Highlights
Inpatient and outpatient pediatric gastroenterology practice
Full range of diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures, including advanced endoscopy, manometry, capsule endoscopy, pH/impedance monitoring, and G-tube placement
Join a team of pediatric gastroenterologists, a pediatric hepatologist, nurse practitioners, nurses, and dietitians
Teaching opportunities with GI fellows, residents, and medical students
Collaboration with established programs in IBD, liver disease/transplant, aerodigestive disorders, and intestinal rehabilitation
Interest or additional training in hepatology, liver transplant, advanced endoscopy, motility, or nutrition is preferred
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
Additional fellowship training or demonstrated interest in Pediatric Hepatology/Liver Transplant, Advanced Endoscopy, Motility Disorders, or Clinical Nutrition is preferred
Experience with advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS is a plus
