Charleston, West Virginia – Diagnostic/Fluoroscopy Radiologist Job

Clinical Role

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible radiologist
• On-site opportunity
• Hospital-based practice
• Seeking 2 radiologists
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Primary responsibilities include:
  • Diagnostic fluoroscopy procedures
  • General diagnostic radiology
• Must be comfortable performing:
  • Infant barium enema (BE) examinations
  • Diagnostic lumbar punctures
  • Joint injections (knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle)
  • Image-guided biopsies:
    • Thyroid
    • Lung
    • Liver
    • Renal
    • CT-guided
    • Ultrasound-guided
  • Drainage procedures:
    • Paracentesis
    • Thoracentesis
    • Abscess drainage
    • Chest tube placement
    • Cyst drainage
• Estimated daily workload:
  • 90–100 studies per shift
  • Approximately 60–70 wRVUs per 8-hour shift
• West Virginia medical license required
