Locums - Minneapolis, Minnesota, CRNA Opening (Willing to License)

Start Date: August 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing (initial contract is 4 months)

Orientation & Scheduling Requirements:

• Paid orientation: 3 days required
• Orientation shifts begin on the second Monday of every month
• Providers must complete 3 orientation shifts
• Full-time coverage preferred
• Minimum requirement may be 36 hours/week and 2 weeks/month may apply
• Required: Two consecutive weeks per month during the first 3 months of assignment
• After 3 months, every-other-week scheduling may be considered

Shift Details:

• 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts available
• Schedule options include:
  • 6:30am–3:00pm
  • 6:30am–5:00pm
  • 6:30am–7:00pm

Coverage Needs:

• FTE coverage needed
• Approximately 40 hours/week x 4 weeks/month preferred

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based tertiary care facility
• Level III facility
• Care Team model: 4:1
• 24-hour anesthesia aide department available for room turnover and supply support

Patient Population:

• Ages 12+

Department & Clinical Details:

• Specialized tertiary care cases
• CRNAs do not perform:
  • Blocks
  • Arterial lines
  • Epidurals
  • Spinals

EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Minnesota RN license – Required
• Minnesota Registered Nurse Anesthetist licensure – Required
• ACLS/BLS Tier 2 Advanced Cardiac Life Support – Required upon hire
• Minimum 1 year of experience – Required
• NBCRNA Required
• Active MN License Required

 

Credentialing Timeframe:

• Approximately 90–120 days
