Geriatric Medicine Physician - Urbana, Illinois (Flexible Schedule Options)
- Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Geriatrician
- Fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine required
- Team includes 5 Geriatricians, 9 Advanced Practice Providers, and full-time nursing staff
- Primary responsibilities include nursing home coverage and ambulatory clinic
- Planned clinic schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Flexible opportunity with part-time positions available
- Provide care in sub-acute, rehabilitation, and short-stay environments
- Opportunity for medical directorship and long-term care at a third nursing home in the area
- Hospital practice is not required
- No visit or staffing requirements for assisted-care facilities, home visits, hospice, or palliative care
- Physicians are on call for their nursing home patients during the week
- Geriatric service call is 1:12 for weekday/weekend ambulatory clinic patients
- Opportunity for academic and/or research involvement
- Compensation range of $310,000 to $315,000
