Availability
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment: Ongoing
- Local candidates only – Provider must already live in the immediate area
- Primary coverage in Fayetteville with potential coverage in Lumberton
- No call
Licensure & Certifications
- Board Certified (NP or PA) – Required
- Active North Carolina License – Required
- Active North Carolina DEA – Required
- BLS – Required
- NCCPA Certification (PA) or Family NP Certification – Required
- DOT Certification – Preferred
- PALS and/or ACLS – Preferred
- Fellowship – Required (per facility requirements)
Required Experience
- Minimum 12 months of Urgent Care experience
- New graduates will not be considered
- Experience treating:
- Adults
- Pediatric patients 6 months and older
- Must be comfortable working as the sole provider in a high-volume urgent care setting
- Experience performing:
- Laceration repairs
- Ear irrigation
- Other common urgent care procedures
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Schedule
- Schedule to be discussed
- No call
- Average 45 patients per day (up to 60 depending on location)
- Independent practice with off-site supervising physician support (for APPs)
Practice Details
- Urgent Care setting
- Patient population: Adults and Pediatrics (6 months+)
- Primary locations in Fayetteville with occasional coverage in Lumberton
- Support staff includes:
- Center Manager
- Medical Assistant
- Patient Services Associate
- Off-site Supervising Physician
- EMR: Epic with modified onboarding/training
- High-volume, fast-paced practice focused on comprehensive urgent care services
