Clinical Role

Join an established anesthesia department in Greenville, South Carolina, practicing within a collaborative care team model alongside anesthesiologists and fellow CRNAs. This full-time locums opportunity offers a consistent four-day workweek with no call responsibilities while caring for an adult surgical population in a high-volume hospital setting.

Contract Length:

13-week assignment

Coverage Requirements:

Full-time

40 hours per week

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week

7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Preferred schedule:

Monday through Thursday

OR

Tuesday through Friday

Call Schedule:

No call required

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Practice Setting:

Hospital

Care team anesthesia model

Patient Population:

100% Adult

Case Volume:

Approximately 30 surgical cases per day

Clinical Responsibilities:

General adult anesthesia

Obstetrical anesthesia

Pain management

Ventilation management

Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues

Participation within a collaborative CRNA/anesthesiologist care team

CRNA supervision responsibilities as applicable

Perioperative patient management

Support & Technology

Support Staff:

18 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists

5 Anesthesiologists

Established perioperative team

EMR System:

Epic

Requirements

NBCRNA Certification – Required

Active South Carolina License – Required

South Carolina licensure must already be active; licensing assistance is not available.

BLS Certification – Required

ACLS Certification – Required

Minimum two years of CRNA experience – Required

Experience with:

General adult anesthesia

Obstetrical anesthesia

Pain management

Ventilation management

Acute hemodynamic management

CRNA supervision

Clean background and malpractice history – Required

Provider name and NPI required for name-clear process

Vaccination Requirements

MMR – Required

Influenza Vaccine – Required

Varicella Vaccine – Required

Credentialing

Approximately 60 days with an active South Carolina license

More than 90 days without an active South Carolina license

Compact licensure is not accepted
