Availability

• Start Date: 08/31/2026 (Orientation completed prior to start)
• Contract Length: 6 Months
• Schedule: 3–4 24-Hour Shifts per Month
• Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

• Block scheduling available (not recommended to work all shifts consecutively due to volume)

License Requirements

• Active Washington License – Required

Certifications / Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology – Required
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) – Required
• Epic Charting Experience – Required
• Required Clinical Activity Within the Last 24 Months:
  • 100 OB patients
  • Minimum 15 Cesarean Sections
  • Minimum 30 Vaginal Deliveries
  • 50 Gynecology Patients

Practice Details

• Specialty: OB Hospitalist
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Hospital coverage only; clinic privileges may be added if needed)
• Trauma Levels: Adult II, III, & IV
• EMR: Epic
• Patient Population: Adult Women
• Department Volume: 50–75 Deliveries per Month
• Responsibilities:
  • Admissions
  • Rounding
  • Inpatient OB/GYN Care
  • D&C
  • Cesarean Sections
  • Other Inpatient OB/GYN Procedures
• Providers work alongside other OB/GYN physicians (not solo)

Call Details

• 3–4 24-Hour Call Shifts per Month
• Typically 2–6 Deliveries per 24-Hour Shift
• Occasional ED Consults and Backup for Hospitalists
• While not required to remain in-house, providers typically stay on-site due to patient volume.
