• Coverage Reason: Temporary IR coverage needed while recruiting a permanent Interventional Radiologist

License & Certification Requirements

• Board Certified: Required
• Nebraska Medical License: Highly Preferred
• IMLC Eligibility: Accepted/Required if no Nebraska license

Clinical Details

• Specialty: Interventional Radiology
• Setting: Level II Trauma Center / 175-bed hospital
• Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive IR services to support trauma center requirements
• Admissions: Not specified
• EMR: Epic

Required Procedures

Broad-based Interventional Radiology experience including:

• Spine procedures (pain management injections, vertebral augmentation, etc.)
• Port placements and central line placements
• Solid organ biopsies and drainages
• Oncology interventions and image-guided therapies
• Kyphoplasty
• Breast biopsies

Support Staff

• Dedicated IR technologist support
• Nursing support
• Collaborative team environment
• PA support for:
  • Barium procedures
  • Lumbar punctures
  • Paracentesis
  • Thoracentesis

Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified Interventional Radiologist
• Active Nebraska license or IMLC eligibility
• Comfortable managing a broad IR case mix
• Able to provide weekday procedural coverage without call responsibilities
• Experienced in Level II Trauma Center support
• Available for full requested coverage blocks
