• Shift: 24-hour call (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
• Call: Hotel/Home Call with callback (No in-house call)
• Weekend Coverage: Required

• August 28-31
• September 11-14
• October 2-5
• October 16-19
• November 6-9
• December 23-26
• January 2-4

License & Certification Requirements

• Active Ohio Medical License: Required
• Board Certified OB/GYN: Required
• NRP: Required
• ACLS: Required

Practice Details

• Setting: Hospital ER, Labor & Delivery, and GYN call
• EMR: Epic
• Department:
  • 10 LDRP beds
  • 3 Postpartum beds
  • 1 Triage bed
  • 12 Normal Newborn Nursery beds
  • No Special Care Nursery

Clinical Responsibilities

• OB/GYN call coverage
• Labor & Delivery
• Emergency GYN coverage
• Must be able to perform:
  • Cesarean sections
  • All OB/GYN-related surgeries
  • Scheduled D&C procedures

Practice Statistics

• 2 OB/GYN Physicians
• 5 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
• 40–50% Gynecology
• 1–4 GYN surgeries per day
• 15–35% C-section rate
• 2–5 nursery admissions per day
• Average newborn census: 3–4
• Pediatric census: 0–1 patient approximately every two months

Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Active Ohio medical license
• Current NRP and ACLS certifications
• Comfortable providing independent OB and GYN call coverage
• Experienced with C-sections and the full spectrum of OB/GYN surgical procedures
• Available for one or more of the requested coverage blocks
