We Provide the License – Locums – Northern New Hampshire – Pediatrician Job

Clinical Role

  • Locum tenens opportunity

  • Seeking a board certified Pediatrician

  • Physician-only position

  • Client will consider physicians who:

    • Have an active New Hampshire license

    • Are eligible through the IMLC

    • Need a New Hampshire license

  • New Hampshire offers both temporary and locum licenses

  • Approximately six-month assignment while the organization recruits for a permanent physician

  • Monday-Friday schedule (5 days per week required)

  • 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

  • No call

  • 100% outpatient practice

  • Practice at multiple locations:

    • 3-4 days per week in Whitefield, New Hampshire

    • 1-2 days per week in Colebrook and/or Lancaster, New Hampshire

  • Average patient volume: 18-22 patients per day

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents

  • Perform well-child visits, newborn care, immunizations, and routine preventive care

  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic pediatric conditions

  • Monitor growth and developmental milestones and coordinate early interventions when appropriate

  • Provide preventive care, health screenings, and age-appropriate anticipatory guidance

  • Educate parents and caregivers regarding nutrition, safety, development, behavioral health, and disease prevention

  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing

  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based pediatric guidelines

  • Coordinate care with specialists, therapists, schools, and community resources

  • Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care and continuity

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws and organizational policies
