Clinical Role
Join a highly respected OB Hospitalist program in Fort Worth, Texas, providing comprehensive inpatient obstetric care at a busy maternity center delivering more than 3,000 babies annually. This ongoing locums opportunity offers flexible scheduling, no clinic responsibilities, collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Neonatology specialists, and the support of a Level III NICU. IMLC-eligible physicians are welcome.

- Night coverage staffed by two OB Hospitalists

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:
- Hospital
Facility Details:
- More than 3,000 deliveries annually
- Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Advanced obstetrical technology and experienced support staff
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide OB Hospitalist coverage
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries as indicated
- Cover the Labor & Delivery unit
- Provide coverage for the Obstetric Emergency Department
- Cover obstetric patients presenting to the main Emergency Department
- Round on hospitalized obstetric patients
- Manage maternal transports
- Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Neonatology teams
- Coordinate care with nursing staff and consulting physicians
Support & Technology
Provider Support:
- Experienced OB Hospitalist team
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
- Neonatology specialists
- Possible Certified Nurse Midwife support
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology required
- Texas Medical License preferred (or license in process)
- Active IMLC Compact eligibility accepted
- Minimum one year of recent clinical OB/GYN experience required
