Join an established anesthesia team in York, Pennsylvania, providing weekend overnight CRNA coverage at a Level I Trauma Center. This locums opportunity offers medically directed practice, a diverse surgical case mix, and the opportunity to work alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians in a collaborative hospital environment.

Assignment Details

Start Date:

• September 28, 2026

Assignment Length:

• Through end of approval

Schedule:

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts

Coverage Needed:

• Full-time coverage

Anesthesia Care Model:

• Medically Directed 1:3 (maximum 1:4)

Patient Volume:

• Varies based on anesthetizing location

Patient Population:

• All ages

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and post-anesthesia assessments
• Deliver safe perioperative anesthesia care
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty teams
• Document patient care using Epic

Additional Notes

• CRNAs cannot perform nerve blocks
• CRNAs perform epidurals without physician present

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• Compact license accepted
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• Minimum two years of experience preferred

Credentialing

• Approximately 90 days
