Clinical Role

Join a busy Electrophysiology team in Flagstaff, Arizona, providing both hospital and clinic coverage for an established cardiovascular program. This full-time locums opportunity offers a collaborative practice with an Electrophysiology physician while caring for adult patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Assignment Details

Coverage Dates:

  • August 17, 2026 – October 24, 2026

Assignment Length:

  • Approximately 10 weeks

Schedule:

  • Full-time preferred
  • Minimum 3–4 weeks per month
  • 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • One-hour lunch
  • Hospital shifts with possible clinic shifts

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Practice Setting:

  • Clinic
  • Hospital

Patient Population:

  • Adult

Patient Volume:

  • Variable inpatient volume
  • Approximately 14 clinic patients per day

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Electrophysiology follow-up visits
  • Evaluate post-operative patients
  • Perform post-device checks
  • Manage same-day appointments
  • Provide procedure follow-up care
  • Support inpatient Electrophysiology service
  • Collaborate closely with the Electrophysiology physician
  • Document patient care using Cerner EMR

  • Cerner

Support Staff:

  • Electrophysiology Physician

Requirements

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
  • Active Arizona license preferred
  • Will consider candidates needing Arizona licensure
  • DEA required
  • Minimum one year of Electrophysiology experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive Electrophysiology experience
  • Strong experience managing cardiac rhythm disorders and cardiac devices

Credentialing

  • Approximately 30–60 days

Organization & Team

  • Busy Electrophysiology department
  • Collaborative physician and APP practice
  • Opportunity for full-time coverage
  • Well-established cardiovascular program
