Locums - Flagstaff, Arizona, NP/PA Electrophysiology Job
Clinical Role
Join a busy Electrophysiology team in Flagstaff, Arizona, providing both hospital and clinic coverage for an established cardiovascular program. This full-time locums opportunity offers a collaborative practice with an Electrophysiology physician while caring for adult patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Assignment Details
Coverage Dates:
- August 17, 2026 – October 24, 2026
Assignment Length:
- Approximately 10 weeks
Schedule:
- Full-time preferred
- Minimum 3–4 weeks per month
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- One-hour lunch
- Hospital shifts with possible clinic shifts

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:

Patient Population:

Patient Volume:
- Variable inpatient volume
- Approximately 14 clinic patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Conduct Electrophysiology follow-up visits
- Evaluate post-operative patients
- Perform post-device checks
- Manage same-day appointments
- Provide procedure follow-up care
- Support inpatient Electrophysiology service
- Collaborate closely with the Electrophysiology physician
- Document patient care using Cerner EMR

Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
- Active Arizona license preferred
- Will consider candidates needing Arizona licensure
- DEA required
- Minimum one year of Electrophysiology experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive Electrophysiology experience
- Strong experience managing cardiac rhythm disorders and cardiac devices
Credentialing
- Approximately 30–60 days
