Availability

  • No beeper or callback responsibilities
  • Dedicated OB/GYN call room in Labor & Delivery
  • Facility-employed CNM provides onsite 24-hour coverage alongside the OB/GYN

Licenses & Certifications Required

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active North Carolina Medical License (IMLC Accepted)
• DEA Certification
• BLS Certification
• Epic experience required
• Seasoned provider preferred; no new graduates

Practice Details

• Average 45–60 deliveries per month
• Hospital and hospital-owned practice
• Primarily adult patients with some adolescent OB/GYN patients
• Comfortable managing a rural OB/GYN practice and Labor & Delivery unit
• Office procedures include:
  • LEEP
  • Endometrial biopsies
  • Colposcopy
  • IUD insertions
• In-office laboratory
• Two ultrasound rooms with full-time sonographers
• Clinical and clerical support staff, including dedicated Labor & Delivery nurses
