Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Practice Setting:

• Hospital Emergency Department
• Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs)

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care during overnight shifts
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Perform standard emergency medicine procedures
• Coordinate care with consultants and hospital staff
• Document patient encounters accurately within the EMR

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine – Required
• Emergency Medicine Residency Trained – Required
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certification is not accepted for the main hospital
• Must be willing to work at affiliated Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs)
