Clinical Role

Join an established hospital-based Urology program in Paducah, Kentucky, providing ongoing locums call coverage. This opportunity offers a combination of inpatient call responsibilities with the potential for outpatient procedures, supported by experienced APRNs and Epic EMR.

7–10 days per month

Schedule:
24-hour in-house call
7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Yes

Approximately 2–8 hours

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Practice Setting:
Hospital-Based
Primarily Inpatient with potential outpatient procedures

Patient Population:
Adult

Patient Volume:
Approximately 6–12 patients per day

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • General Urology call coverage
  • Inpatient consultations and management
  • Surgical and procedural care as indicated
  • Perform advanced endoscopic procedures
  • Ureteroscopy
  • Laser procedures
  • ESWL (available on Tuesdays)
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and consulting providers
  • Document patient care using Epic

Support & Technology

EMR System:
Epic

Support Staff:
Two onsite Ambulatory APRNs providing clinic support

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Urology required
  • Truly Board Eligible candidates will also be considered
  • Active Kentucky medical license or active IMLC required
  • DEA required
  • ACLS preferred
