Mountain Home, AR – Electrophysiology APP (Permanent)
Position Overview
- Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas
- Position: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – Electrophysiology
- Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
- Setting: Primarily Outpatient Cardiology Clinic with Procedural Lab Support
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Two-Year Commitment)
Availability Requirements
Required
- Primarily outpatient clinic schedule
- Occasional on-call responsibilities for urgent device or arrhythmia management
- Procedural lab support as needed
Licenses, Certifications & Qualifications
Required License
- Current, unrestricted Arkansas APRN license (NP or CNS)
Required Education
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
Required Board Certification
One of the following:
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
- Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC)
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC)
- Adult Cardiac Care certification (ACPC-CMC)
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care certification preferred
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- DEA Registration or DEA Eligibility
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in one of the following:
- Cardiology
- Cardiac ICU
- Cardiac Step-Down
- Electrophysiology
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrophysiology or device clinic experience
- Cardiac Medicine Certification (CMC) through AACN or equivalent EP credential
- Experience with cardiac arrhythmia management
- Device interrogation experience with one or more of the following:
- Medtronic
- Abbott
- Boston Scientific
- Biotronik
- Experience with remote monitoring platforms including:
- Merlin.net
- CareLink
- Latitude
- BIOTRONIK Home Monitoring
- MURJ
- Experience with Cerner, Epic, or similar EHR systems
- Bilingual skills preferred
Clinical Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias
- Conduct outpatient Electrophysiology evaluations
- Pre-procedure assessments
- Post-procedure follow-up
- Long-term cardiac device management
- Collaborate closely with Electrophysiologists and the cardiovascular team
- Deliver evidence-based care across the continuum of Electrophysiology services
Work Environment
- Primarily outpatient clinic
- Procedural lab support as needed
- Exposure to fluoroscopy with radiation safety protocols
- Ability to stand, sit, and move for extended periods
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Safety-sensitive position under Arkansas Act 593
