Locums – Central Michigan (Midland) – Hospitalist NP/PA Job

• Seeking a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Must have 1+ year of post-training hospitalist experience
• Michigan-based candidates only
• Start date: August 31, 2026
• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Night shifts: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• One day of orientation prior to start
• Orientation compensation:
  • $400 flat rate for 4 hours or less
  • $800 flat rate if orientation exceeds 4 hours
• 100% inpatient position
• Responsibilities include:
  • Admissions
  • Cross coverage
  • Codes
  • Rapid responses during the night
• Core NP/PA hospitalist privileges required (no proctoring required)
• EMR: Epic
• Dictation: Dragon
• Required certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
• Must provide documentation of 50 inpatient encounters within the past 12 months
• Credentialing typically takes approximately 30 days, with applications prioritized based on start date
