Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician – Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Availability

• Start Date: October 1, 2026
• End Date: March 31, 2027
• Coverage Reason: Current locum provider medical leave
• Preferred Coverage: Full-time
• Flexible Coverage: Will consider providers available 2–3 weeks per month
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 1-hour lunch
• Call: Shared nights and weekends
• Call Type: Beeper
• Required Response Time: 30 minutes

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage hematology/oncology patients
• Consult on both ambulatory and hospital patients
• Perform or assist with bone marrow biopsies (preferred)
• Manage infusion patients
• Participate in shared night and weekend call coverage

Practice Information

• Two physicians and three nurse practitioners
• Radiation oncology services available onsite
• 18 chemotherapy infusion chairs
• 2 non-chemotherapy infusion chairs
• Bone marrow biopsies available within the Cancer Center
