Availability

• Schedule Options:
  • 7 twenty-four-hour shifts per month or
  • 14 twelve-hour shifts per month
• Additional Requirement: 36 hours per quarter at the regional tertiary medical center to maintain clinical competency
• Travel Stipend: Provided

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• North Carolina Medical License (or eligible to obtain)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide Labor & Delivery coverage
• Collaborate with regional OB/GYN physicians
• Deliver inpatient obstetrical care
• Maintain clinical competency through scheduled tertiary care coverage
