Availability

• Position Type: Full-Time Opportunity
• Schedule: 24-hour emergency department coverage
• Shift Options:
  • 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Single coverage: 1:00 AM–9:00 AM
• FTE Schedule: Approximately 11 shifts per month
• Additional shifts available
• Flexible scheduling options

Practice Setting

• Emergency Medicine Department
• Level III Trauma Center
• Annual ED volume: 13,000–14,000 visits
• Average patient volume: 16–18 patients per day
• Single physician coverage with additional coverage during peak volume periods
• NP/PA coverage available 7 days a week:
  • Weekdays and weekends
  • 9:00 AM–1:00 AM
• Join a collegial, team-oriented department
• Current physician team: 4 Emergency Medicine physicians; expanding to add a 5th physician
• Newly remodeled emergency department
• Epic EMR with DAX ambient voice documentation
• Physician-led organization

Required Licenses

• Eligible for Minnesota medical licensure

Required Certifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience or additional EM training considered
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• ATLS or CALS Certification (Required)
• PALS Certification (Required)
