  • Must have one or more years of post-training experience
  • Cardiology, internal medicine, primary care, or related specialty experience preferred
  • Work collaboratively with cardiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Opportunity to practice at the top of your license while caring for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions
  • Perform comprehensive cardiology assessments, including patient histories and physical examinations
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
  • Order and interpret laboratory, diagnostic, and imaging studies
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines
  • Monitor patients between visits and ensure continuity of care
  • Triage patient calls and provide clinical consultation
  • Educate patients and families on heart disease prevention, treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies
  • Participate in community outreach and heart health education initiatives
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and a culture of patient-centered care

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current New Hampshire APRN license
  • Current DEA registration
  • Ability to obtain and maintain professional liability insurability through the organization
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic testing and formulate treatment plans
  • Knowledge of evidence-based cardiology practices
  • Excellent communication, patient education, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve, work independently, and collaborate effectively
