Locum Urology Opportunity – Portsmouth, Ohio (IMLC Accepted)

Availability

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment: Ongoing
• Office Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Coverage: Scheduled clinic hours plus beeper call
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Licenses & Certifications Required

• Board Certified in Urology – Required
• Active Ohio Medical License or IMLC – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required
• BLS Certification – Required

Practice Details

• EMR: MediTech
• Clinic Volume: 15–20 patients per day
• Clinic Schedule: 3–4 half-day clinics per week
• Hospital Procedures: 4–8 per day
• Department Beds: 2

Support Staff

• 2 Nurse Practitioners
• 3 Medical Office Assistants
• 6 Clinical Staff
• 1 Surgery Scheduler
• 1 Urodynamics Technician

Clinic Resources

• 2 Procedure Rooms
• 1 Urodynamics Room
• 6 Exam Rooms
• Urodynamics equipment
• Multiple rigid, flexible, and disposable cystoscopes
• Ultrasound equipment

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient urology clinic
• Hospital admissions and assigned rounding
• Office procedures including:
  • Vasectomy
  • Prostate biopsy
  • Cystoscopy with stent removal
  • Prostate ultrasound
• Broad operative urology practice including endourology, stone disease, reconstructive, oncology, female pelvic, and prosthetic procedures
