Availability
- Coverage Dates: January 1, 2027 – June 30, 2027
- Possible Additional Coverage: November/December 2026
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- Shift Times: 12:00 PM–10:00 PM or 1:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Schedule: Monday–Sunday or Saturday–Friday blocks
- Preferred Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Call: No Call
- Call Back: None
- Beeper: None
- Overtime: None
Licensure & Certifications
- Florida License: Required
- IMLC: Not Accepted
- ABEM: Required
- ABIM / ABIM-FM: Not Accepted
- ATLS: Required by Florida law
Clinical Setting
- Emergency Department Coverage Only
- Inpatient / Admitting Privileges: Not Required
- Trauma Facility: High acuity
- Department: Main ED
- APP Support: Available
- APP Supervision: Not Required
- Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric
Clinical Volume
- Average Patient Volume: Approximately 2 patients per hour
- Patients per Shift: Approximately 18–20 for a 9–10 hour shift
- Patient Care: Immediate recognition, evaluation, treatment, stabilization, and disposition of acute illness and injury
Additional Coverage
- Potential Float: LMH and HPMC
- HPMC: Very unlikely; may be requested for urgent coverage
