Coverage is needed for the following dates:

• September 4–11, 2026
• September 25–October 1, 2026
• October 16–23, 2026

• December 4–7, 2026

Required Licenses & Certifications

Required

• Active Wisconsin Medical License or IMLC eligibility
• BLS Certification

Preferred

• Fellowship Training

Schedule

• 24-hour call every day, including weekends
• Monday–Friday: Approximately 4 hours of clinic responsibilities during call coverage
• One day per week, when the permanent physician is onsite, the locum will provide clinic coverage only (8 hours) with no call

Responsibilities

• 24-hour OB call coverage
• Labor and delivery coverage
• Hospital admissions and assigned rounding
• Outpatient OB and GYN clinic
• Annual exams
• Pessary management
• Review lab results for other locums
• Manage Epic in-basket messages
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff

Practice Details

• Clinic and birthing center are located on the same floor
• Average 12–20 deliveries per month
• Certified Nurse Midwife on staff
• Average hospital census: 0–3 patients
• Approximately 6 hours of clinic responsibilities during clinic days

Call Details

• Beeper call
• Required response time: Within 30 minutes
• Average call volume: 0–2 calls

• Providers interested in call coverage only will be considered.
• The site is open to weekend-only call coverage and weekday call-only coverage for providers who are not interested in clinic responsibilities.
