Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Psychiatrist
Immediate opening for a full-time Interventional Psychiatrist specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
Join the Department of Behavioral Health in helping expand an innovative TMS program within one of the Bronx's largest healthcare organizations
Full-time, 40-hour work week
100% onsite
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to determine patient eligibility for TMS therapy using evidence-based criteria
Administer and oversee TMS treatments in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
Provide TMS consultations to primary care physicians and behavioral health providers throughout the organization
Monitor treatment progress and adjust protocols when clinically appropriate
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team to provide coordinated patient care
Educate physicians and clinical staff regarding TMS indications, contraindications, and patient selection
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Stay current with advances in interventional psychiatry and TMS technology

Spanish language skills are a plus but not required

MD or DO
Completion of an accredited General Psychiatry residency
Board certified or truly board eligible in Psychiatry
Demonstrated training and experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and other interventional psychiatric procedures
Active New York medical license
Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication, consultation, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
