Assignment Details

Availability

• Full-time locum coverage needed
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Fast-paced outpatient anesthesia environment
• Opportunity to provide coverage at an additional nearby location in Kingston, NC (approximately 45 minutes away)

Required Licensure & Certifications

• Active North Carolina CRNA License — Required
• NBCRNA Certification — Required
• BLS — Required
• ACLS — Required
• PALS — Required

Experience Requirements

• 2–3 years of CRNA experience — Required
• GI sedation experience — Required
• General anesthesia experience — Required

Preferred Experience

• Gastroenterology anesthesia experience
• Ambulatory anesthesia experience
• Office-based anesthesia or ASC experience

Practice Setting

• Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Gastroenterology and non-surgical weight loss procedures
• Collaborative practice model working alongside a physician
• Patient population approximately 16–80 years old

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for:
  • EGD procedures
  • Colonoscopies
  • Gastroenterology procedures
  • Non-surgical weight loss procedures requiring anesthesia
  • Gastric sleeve procedures
• Manage GI sedation and general anesthesia cases

Patient Volume

• Approximately 17–24 patients per day
• Volume varies based on physician schedule

Support & Technology

• EMR: gGastro (GMED)
• Collaborative physician support
• Each location staffed with:
  • 2–3 RNs and LPN backup
  • 1–2 Medical Assistants in procedure rooms
