Locums – Durand, Wisconsin – Hospitalist / Emergency Medicine APP Job

Locum tenens opportunity
Seeking a board certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant
Hybrid hospitalist and emergency medicine coverage at a rural critical access hospital
Coverage Dates: August 23-29
Orientation: Friday, August 21
24-hour shifts (Noon to Noon)
Solo provider coverage
Typical workload is 12-15 active hours, with the remaining time on call
Private sleeping accommodations provided on-site or nearby
Covers both the emergency department and inpatient floor
Low overnight callback volume
Must have emergency medicine experience clearly listed on CV
Must be comfortable working independently as the sole provider
Required procedural skills include cardioversion, central lines, chest tubes, EKG interpretation, fracture stabilization, hematoma blocks, incision and drainage, IO lines, intubation/RSI, ventilator management, laceration repair, and local anesthesia
Facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital
No ICU
Average daily encounters: 4-8
EMR: Epic
Temporary privileges available
