Join an established neurology team in Longview, Washington, providing both inpatient and outpatient neurological care. This locums opportunity offers approximately one week of coverage per month, including weekday clinic hours and call responsibilities. The practice is experiencing a coverage gap and offers a collaborative environment with physician and NP support.

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 8-hour clinic coverage
- One week per month
- Weekday call coverage throughout the week
- Preference for 3–5 days of call coverage per week
- 24-hour call in addition to clinic responsibilities
Call Details:
- Call/text volume: approximately 0–4 contacts per 24-hour period
- Call is primarily managed by phone
- In-house consultations conducted when the provider is onsite
- 24-hour call coverage associated with the clinic week

- Rounding and admissions
- Clinic and hospital privileges
- EEG and EMG procedures
- Adult and adolescent patients age 17+
- Approximately 16 patients per day

Patient Population:
Patients age 17 and older
Patient Volume:
Approximately 16 patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient neurology care
- Provide inpatient neurology consultations
- Round on hospitalized neurology patients
- Admit patients as needed
- Evaluate and manage assigned patients
- Perform EEG procedures
- Perform EMG procedures
- Provide in-house consultations when onsite
- Respond to call and text consultations
- Manage neurological concerns by phone when appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians and NP team members
Call Responsibilities
Call Type:
Phone/text call with in-house consultations when onsite
Call Volume:
Approximately 0–4 calls/texts per 24-hour period
Call Coverage:
- One week per month
- Monday–Friday clinic coverage
- Weekday call throughout the clinic week
- Preference for 3–5 days of call coverage
- 24-hour call on top of clinic responsibilities

- Board Certified Neurology – Required
- MD/DO – Required

Both clinic and hospital privileges are required. The clinic is located within the hospital at the same address, so separate clinic privileges are not required.
