Locums – Jupiter, Florida, Breast Imaging Radiology Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Breast Imaging Radiologist

• Onsite position – teleradiology is not available

• Monday–Friday schedule

• Typical hours:

  • 8:30a–4p/4:30p when three radiologists are working

  • 8:30a–5p when two radiologists are working

• Approximately 50–60 cases per day

• Case mix includes:

  • Screening mammography

  • Diagnostic mammography

  • Breast ultrasound

  • Bone density studies

  • Breast procedures

• Some cases may involve multiple studies, such as screening mammography combined with breast ultrasound and/or bone density

• Breast procedures may be performed based on the radiologist's comfort level

• Opportunity to perform 3+ breast procedures per day, depending on comfort level and volume

• Procedures may include stereotactic breast biopsies

• PACS: Change Healthcare

• Dictation: PowerScribe

• EMR: Epic

  • Week of October 5

  • Week of October 12

  • Week of October 19

  • Week of October 26

  • Week of November 2

  • December 18 – single-day coverage
