Locums - Manchester, New Hampshire | CRNA Opportunity
Clinical Role
Join a collaborative anesthesia team in Manchester, New Hampshire, providing ongoing CRNA coverage across a variety of surgical and procedural services. This opportunity includes 8-, 10-, 12-, and limited 24-hour shifts, with the greatest ongoing need for 12-hour coverage on Thursdays and Fridays. Holiday and surrounding-day coverage is primarily needed for 24-hour shifts.
The hospital offers a respectful team-care model with strong collaboration between physicians and CRNAs. The facility is a Level III Adult Trauma Center with approximately 15 ORs/anesthetizing locations depending on the day.

Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care across assigned surgical and procedural cases
- Provide obstetric anesthesia
- Perform labor epidurals
- Provide regional anesthesia blocks
- Place lines as required
- Provide OR coverage as needed
- Manage patients throughout the perioperative period
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other surgical services
- Follow appropriate escalation procedures for cases outside the CRNA's assigned coverage
OB CRNA Coverage
24-Hour OB Coverage:
The 24-hour OB CRNA will be in-house alone and will primarily cover labor epidurals.
If an OB patient requires a C-section, or if another clinical need arises that is outside the CRNA's assigned epidural coverage, the physician on call should be contacted.
Epidural Support:
- Physician on call provides support for epidural complications
- Support may be provided by phone or through on-site evaluation
- 30-minute physician response time per hospital policy
- CRNA should contact the physician on call for anything other than a labor epidural
Call Responsibilities
CRNA Call:
- In-house 24-hour OB coverage
- Labor epidural coverage
- OR coverage as needed when available
- Physician support available for additional OB or anesthesia needs

- OR support staff
Anesthesia Team Model:

Requirements
- NBCRNA – Required
- Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience for OB coverage – Required
- OB anesthesia experience – Required for OB CRNA coverage
- ACLS – Required
- NBCRNA or ABA certification – Required
- Experience with regional blocks and lines – Required
