• Coverage Dates: December 24 – January 4 (AM)
• Coverage Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
• Clinic Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Inpatient Setting

Licensure & Certifications

• Board Certification: Required
• North Dakota License: Highly Preferred
• IMLC: Accepted and Required
• BLS: Required
• DEA: Required

Clinical Requirements

• Specialty: OB/GYN
• Vaginal Deliveries: Required
• C-Sections: Required
• Hysterectomies: Required
• Tubal Procedures: Required
• Bladder Repairs: Required
• D&Cs: Required

Clinical Volume & Schedule

• Deliveries: Approximately 50–60 per month
• Admissions: 1–3 per day
• Call: 24 hours/day
• Rounding: Round on admitted patients
• Deliveries: Respond in person as needed
• ER Coverage: Respond to urgent cases
• Support: Family Practice physician with OB

Experience with the following applications is beneficial:

• Meditech
• Dragon
• PACS
• eRx – Dr. First
• Imprivata Tap and Go

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN patient care consistent with licensure, specialty, training, and privileges
• Perform required OB/GYN procedures and attend deliveries
• Round on inpatient and hospital patients
• Respond to urgent/emergency cases in the ER
• Supervise mid-level providers, nurses, and other personnel as applicable
• Complete and maintain timely patient documentation and medical records
• Participate in credentialing, peer review, and applicable hospital activities
• Provide after-hours call coverage and inpatient services
