Availability

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage: 5–7 days per month
• Preferred Schedule: 5 consecutive days
• Hours: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Call Type: Beeper
• Call Response Time: Within 30 minutes

Licensure

• Florida License: Required
• IMLC: Accepted

Certifications

• Board Certified Neurosurgeon: Required
• ACLS: Required
• BLS: Required
• PALS: Required

Clinical Setting

• Trauma Level: II
• EMR: Cerner
• Patients per Shift: Varies
• Coverage Location: In-house Neurocare

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic coverage
• OR coverage
• In-house call coverage
• Transfer Center calls
• Timely response to ER calls
• Document plan in chart within 30 minutes
• Cover emergency and urgent cases
• Non-emergent cases referred
• After-hours calls beginning at 5:00 PM for outpatient cases
• Provide phone consultation for after-hours questions
• Sign out and hand off to incoming physicians
