Clinical Role

Provide short-term Gastroenterology coverage for inpatient consults and GI procedures, including ERCP and EUS.

Assignment Details

Coverage Dates:
11/5/26 - 11/18/26

Schedule:

• Thursday 7:00 AM–Thursday 7:00 AM
• 7-day assignment
• Inpatient and GI lab coverage

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform colonoscopies on Mon-Fri schedule
• Perform ERCP and EUS
• Evaluate inpatient GI consultations
• Perform additional GI procedures as needed
• Manage assigned and unassigned patients

Call

• Beeper call
• Approximately 4–6 patients seen
• Call ratio: 4:6

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology – Required
• Gastroenterology Fellowship – Required
• Active Texas license – Required
• ERCP and EUS – Required
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS – Required
• Trauma Level I/II
• Epic EMR
