Locums – San Antonio, Texas Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking experienced Urgent Care APPs (NP/PA) for the San Antonio, Texas.

Projected Start Date: October 15, 2026

AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING

• 7-, 8-, and 15-hour shifts available
• Coverage needed 7 days a week
• Weekend availability required
• Providers cannot limit availability to weekdays only
• Must be willing to float between locations within the assigned region

REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

• Active Texas NP/PA License — Required
• Active Texas DEA — Required
• Board Certification — Required
  • Family Medicine
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Med-Peds
• DOT Certification — Preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience
• Pediatric experience required
  • Must be comfortable treating patients 3 months of age and older
• Workers’ Compensation experience — Preferred
