Candidate Requirements

• Provider Type: CRNA
• Virginia Medical License: Required — active Virginia license
• Board Certification: Required — active board certification verification must be submitted
• Trauma Anesthesia Experience: Required
• OB Anesthesia Experience: Required
• OB Skills: Must have epidural and spinal anesthesia experience
• BLS/ACLS/PALS: To be confirmed based on credentialing requirements

Availability & Assignment

• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Coverage Needed: While the team recruits a full-time permanent CRNA
• Schedule: Full-time coverage
• Shift: Inpatient 12-hour nights
• Hours: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Call: Not required
• Scheduling: Exact schedule determined by the Anesthesia Team
• Number of CRNAs Needed: 1
• Holiday Coverage: November 23, 2026–January 5, 2027
• Existing locum CRNAs currently supporting the team will receive first priority for holiday coverage

• Inpatient anesthesia coverage
• Trauma anesthesia
• OB anesthesia
• Epidural anesthesia
• Spinal anesthesia

• Practice Setting: Academic/Teaching Hospital
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Trauma Level: Adult I
• Hospital Size: 525 beds
• Patient Population: Inpatient, including trauma and OB patients
• EMR: Cerner
• Support: Anesthesia department/team
