Locums – West Haven, Connecticut – Urgent Care NP/PA Job

Clinical Role

• Locum tenens opportunity

• Client is looking to credential 1–2 additional locum Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for future PRN coverage needs

• No specific coverage dates are available at this time

• Potential future needs at the West Haven and Stamford locations

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Urgent care clinic setting

• Hours:

  • Weekdays: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM

  • Weekends: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Solo provider coverage

• Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages

• Average daily volume: 30–45 patients

• Typical cases include:

  • Flu

  • Strep throat

  • Upper respiratory infections

  • Minor illnesses and injuries

• Suturing experience required

• EMR: Experity
