Position Overview

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification: Board-Certified Physician Assistant required
• Rhode Island PA License: Required
  • Client will wait for RI PA license
  • Estimated processing time: 4–8 weeks
• DEA: Required; client will wait
• CSR: Required; client will wait

Experience

• 2+ years of recent Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
• New graduates considered if they completed a Hematology/Oncology rotation

Clinical Details

• Patient Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• Outpatient Volume: 18–22 patients/day
• Inpatient Volume: Varies based on consult volume
• Inpatient Rounding: Daily, approximately 1–2 hours depending on consult volume
• Hem/Onc Coverage: Hem/Onc on site in clinic
• Procedures: Biopsies as needed
• EMR: 80% paper / 20% Meditech
