Position Overview
RecruitWell is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for a locum tenens hospitalist position at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. This is an in-house call position covering scheduling needs on an ongoing basis, starting ASAP.

Key Responsibilities
The OB/GYN Hospitalist will:
Stay at the hospital on the unit and work 24-hour shifts
Manage assigned patients and provide rounding care
Handle approximately 8 patient encounters per shift
Conduct an average of 8 phone consultations per shift
Admit approximately 3 patients per shift
Support 2 OR's for cesarean sections and emergencies
Respond to calls within 30 minutes with a 1:6 call ratio
Utilize MediTech EMR system
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
Board certification or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Must have Kentucky state license or IMLC license
BLS certification required
PALS certification required
Clean background check with no issues
Drug screen clearance
Must be willing to drive to the location (no airfare covered)
