Family Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

Family medicine NP position serving patients in an inpatient psychiatry unit. Patient population ranges from age 10 through elderly. This is a Locums-to-Perm opportunity for a clinician seeking full-time, stable employment with a commitment to long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical care for approximately 52 patient encounters per shift. Engage in both patient rounding and consultative services within the inpatient psychiatry setting.

Candidate Requirements

Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with a minimum of 2 years' experience. Licensed to practice independently in Massachusetts. Must hold current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. A local candidate who does not require hotel, airfare, or rental car arrangements is preferred. Prior or current credentialing at this facility is preferable. Commitment to full-time practice and significant tenure with the organization is essential; candidates seeking minimal shifts or short-term assignments are not suitable for this role.
